JagJeet is designed to help you learn Gurbani and Sikhi through daily reflections, saved verses, and optional reminders. We respect your privacy and aim to keep data handling simple.
Information We Collect
JagJeet does not require you to create an account and we do not collect personal information on our own servers.
The app stores your preferences and app progress locally on your device. This may include things like your selected language, saved verses, onboarding state, reminder settings, and learning progress.
How Information Is Used
The locally stored information is used only to make the app work for you, such as:
- remembering your language and notification preferences
- keeping track of bookmarked verses and learning progress
- opening the correct reflection when you tap a reminder notification
Notifications
JagJeet can send optional local reminders if you choose to enable them. Notification schedules are created on your device. We do not use your own server to send these reminders.
Sharing
If you choose to share a reflection, JagJeet uses Apple's iOS sharing features to let you send content through apps and services you select. That sharing happens only when you take action to share.
Feedback and External Links
If you open the feedback form from the app, you will be taken to an external Microsoft Forms page. Any information you choose to provide there is handled by that external service under its own terms and privacy practices.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising or tracking.
Children's Privacy
JagJeet does not knowingly collect personal information from children on our own servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
